📢 Belfast to Host the International Festival of Neuroscience in April 2027 Belfast has officially been selected to host the prestigious International Festival of Neuroscience in April 2027. The announcement was made by the British Neuroscience Association (BNA) during their 2025 conference in Liverpool last week. The festival will take place in the ICC Belfast | Waterfront Hall | Ulster Hall, bringing together leading voices from academia, industry, healthcare, and society to explore key topics such as memory, behaviour, consciousness, and learning. Dr Laura Ajram, Chief Executive of the British Neuroscience Association (BNA) said, “We at the BNA are looking forward to working with local neuroscientists, ICC Belfast and Visit Belfast to bring the international neuroscience community to this fantastic city. ✈️ Visit Belfast and Belfast International Airport take flight in a new tourism partnership The new partnership aims to drive tourism growth by focusing on shared goals, including enhancing the visitor experience at the airport and highlighting the airport’s significant investments through information, promotional support, and branding opportunities across Visit Belfast’s global digital and marketing channels. The Airport, which is the second largest gateway to Ireland around 30mins from Belfast City Centre, is currently investing £100m as part of a 5 year programme to transform its facilities, passenger experience and accelerate operational and environmental performance.
